Popping with Red

The color of the fall season is red, and everyone should be excited. Something about red is different from the other colors. It's bold, vibrant, and really grabs your attention. Wearing this eye-catching color radiates confidence, elegance, and class.

For the past couple of years, clothing brands have been going for the minimalist aesthetic, and stayed away from bright, vibrant colors. When shopping online or in stores, the main colors of clothing are noticeably navy, black, gray, white, and brown. Red becoming a staple in peoples' closets will give a perfect pop of color that has been recently missing. An easy way to add in a pop of color is by accessorizing your hair with bows, ribbons, and headbands.  Your footwear is also an important part of your outfit. Adidas Sambas, Converse, or any heel, loafer, or flat found in red can spark up and create a unique effect to your look. Even adding a bright red lip or a simple red nail can be a bold yet tasteful addition to your look.

Kendall Jenner was seen joining in on this trend when she was paparazzied wearing a classic all black outfit. She was wearing a black top, high-waisted trousers, a leather belt, pointed-toe, and heels, and was holding a black handbag. What really made this classic look stand out was a red-knitted sweater draped over her shoulders. This striking look draws everyone's eyes straight to her sweater. This outfit is a great example of how easy a simple look can be transformed with the use of eye-catching elements.

This pop-of-red trend is really individualized and can be worn by any aesthetic and style. From leather jackets to ballet flats, red can be worn and accessorized by anyone. As fall soon will turn into winter and everything becomes gray and dull, we need these pops of red to brighten up our outfits and our days.
